Outdoor Engagement
“I feel a kinship with my older relatives, with the cyanobacteria that oxygenated the earth, and with the small bones and shells of those ancestors who are now sand. With the heat at the core of the earth. With the deep breathing of the planet.”
We are in an eco-crisis never before simultaneously witnessed and experienced by human beings throughout the world. In service of Conscious Activism, questions naturally arise:
Once we know (when there is acceptance of what-is), how do we choose to respond to what is happening?
How do we respond in a way that does not participate in (is not part of) the crisis?
What actions are aligned with our highest values?
What actions affirm Life?
In addition to cultivating our sense of kinship with Earth and all her beings, we explore and engage local and global opportunities for ecosystemic protection, restoration, and regeneration that reflect consciousness of interdependence and interbeing.
“Ours is not the task of fixing the entire world all at once, but of stretching out to mend the part of the world that is within our reach.”
