Mindfulness/Meditation
“... the urgency of the situation and our care for that is also a motivator for our own transformation. It’s like: ‘I need to be better at being a human being in order to be able to work with others for the world that we’re trying to create.’ … It’s a motivation in which we see ourselves as part of something whole that needs our wholeness in order to be realized.”
Through mindfulness and other meditation practices, we sense more connection with ourselves and all beings. We become more aware of ourselves and the vast ecosystem of which we are part. Riding this current, we access a sense of deeper purpose and expanded potentiality. We engage discernment – becoming aware of what we’re giving energy and attention to, and choosing to go for what seeds, nourishes, refreshes, encourages, and supports the way that we want to show-up in the world.
We sense and cultivate the qualities-of-being that are needed to navigate personal and global change and transformation:
Curiosity;
Presence;
Open awareness;
Connection;
Compassion.
Because we are part of a vast ecosystem, our mindfulness and meditation practice serve not only ourselves, but all beings, as well as the Whole.
