Testimonials
“This was hands-down the most helpful resource I’ve experienced to navigate climate anxiety.”
—Heather H.D., 2022 10-Step Participant
“I didn’t think a Zoom program could affect me so much. The level of vulberability and honesty of facilitators and participants was off the charts.”
—S.T., 2023 10-Step Participant
“This training is a salve for the times we must live through. Climate chaos and climate grief go hand in hand. We cannot escape the beautiful and horrifying times we are living through. Gaining skills to be a facilitator to bring people together and face this challenge is edifying and grounding. I have more strength for what is to come and I have greater tools to support the communities I work within to come to terms with our predicament with courage, and a little bit of hope.”
-G.R., 2023 FLOW training participant

Good Grief Network's FLOW Facilitation Training is a 36+ hour experience that investigates the state of the world and our inner & collective relationship to the predicament (or polycrisis). This training is for people seeking to improve their facilitation skills to host peer support, sharing spaces including climate cafes and GGN’s 10 Steps to Resilience & Empowerment in a Chaotic Climate program. There are two sessions of this training that will run concurrently over the course of 15 weeks (12 weeks with three breaks). This training is facilitated by GGN founders, LaUra Schmidt and Aimee Lewis Reau. GGN also offers a number of partial and full scholarships as well as work exchanges. Additionally, we offer the ability to pay over three months and a sliding scale to all.
10-Steps for Everyone [Virtual]
Starting Thursday, March 5th, 2026 4pm-6pm PT
Created by LaUra Schmidt and Aimee Lewis Reau, Good Grief Network's 10-Step program is a peer-to-peer support group where we can start attending to our collective wounding and traumas created by surviving in unjust systems.
In the program, we connect 1.5 to 2 hours each week over 10 weeks. During that time we learn to attune to one another to process our heavy and painful feelings about the state of the world, build community connections, and (re-)discover meaning and joy. This group is facilitated by GGN-trained and certified FLOW Facilitators. Scholarships, work exchanges, and sliding scale pricing is available. We will also be offer a drop-in 10-Step program in January (see the link below under events).

Professionals who serve climate-anxious youth & teens are encouraged to take this course so they can better support those they work with and bring our GGN-Z program to their communities and organizations!
