Information About Our Offerings

Courses, groups, and retreats are offered online and cover a variety of topics related to mindful, compassionate, and transformative living. Each offering is different, but generally includes teaching, discussion, and meditation. Reflective writing, relational, creative, and movement practices are also part of many offerings. Focusing on a particular topic or form of practice, these offerings provide a space to cultivate aspects of being in a community of others who are motivated to practice “being aware” and “being kind.”

Most of our offerings take place online, which provides the opportunity for learning, experiencing, and practicing in your own everyday environment, as you take time away from regular routines in service of connecting more deeply. Even though these meetings are “virtual,” we are dedicated to cultivating real relationships, with a focus on authenticity, kindness, respect, and connection.

In general, if you're new to practicing mindfulness and meditation, it's a good idea to begin with an introductory course, such as Beginning and Deepening Mindful Awareness: Conscious Response in a Changing World. However, our offerings are open to all — if you have questions about your participation and readiness for a particular event, we'd love to chat! Please email or give us a call

Online Access

Live sessions take place over Zoom, and many of our offerings (especially courses and retreats) have additional components and communication via our online community platform. You are invited to join for free right now. When you register for a course, we’ll send you the details to access all the live sessions and materials.

Guidelines for Connecting through Zoom:

Having a space that is quiet and where you are not likely to be interrupted will contribute to a more beneficial experience for yourself and all participants. Co-creating a container of respect and presence for this conversation will enhance the benefits of this experience for each and all of us. We recommend that, if possible, you view this event on a PC or laptop, rather than a phone, so that you have access to Gallery view and can see all the participants.

We encourage you, when possible, to keep your video on so that a sense of community and engagement is cultivated. During meditative practices, some participants elect to turn off their video to create a sense of privacy and the ability to “go inward.” Please feel free to leave your video on or turn it off during meditations – whatever feels most comfortable to you.
