Mindful Relating Games
“The most important task of this moment is to generate a base of people who are eager to practice perceiving the complexity and interdependency in every aspect of our lives.”
— Nora Bateson

As a collective and as individuals we have changed, grown, and deepened our relationship with more of ourselves, each other and the world of which we are part.
And here we are, finding our way into and through a time of unprecedented events and circumstances. Now, more than ever before, we need to sense ourselves in community – coming together to support, assist, and inspire each other as we (along with every living being on Earth) meet the change, uncertainty, loss, and growth of being alive in these times. Holding paradox, not knowing, letting go, sensing deeper values, appreciating beauty, being with heartbreak … are all part of our daily lives. This is what it is to be living in a time of global transformation.
Now, perhaps more than ever, we need to be in community – to discover more of ourselves and each other as we support and learn together AND as we remember how energizing and healing authentic connection can be.
Imagine this ~ ~ ~ ~ …
What might it be like to be with a group of people – some you may know, some you never met – and leave a couple hours later feeling more seen, understood and connected than when you walked-in?
What would happen if we brought the qualities of mindfulness – presence, acceptance, curiosity and kindness – into our interactions with others?
What if we could cultivate awakening to ourselves and each other through relating … leaning into, discovering, and celebrating the connection that is always, already here?
Mindful Relating Games are facilitated engagements that provide a safe container for going beneath surface-level small talk to connect with others who are also interested in discovering what it’s like to be together with authenticity and consciousness – waking-up to what it’s like being here together, right now.
For those of us who live near-enough to Monterey, let’s get together.
For those who are geographically too far to come-over, just send your name and where-you-are to Marianne (marianne@montereybaymeditation.com), and we’ll have a place for you in the circle.
“Whenever people meet the normal human interactions of their daily lives with deepened understanding, energy, and awareness, ordinary interactions are transformed into extraordinary practice.”
