Join us for The Original Mindful Food Tour! This food tour takes you beyond “tasting”... to discover Pacific Grove’s wild beauty and connect deeply with yourself, each other and the world around you by mindfully sharing food, stories, and new experiences.

In this three-hour tour, you’ll have the chance to explore the hidden gems of Pacific Grove, relaxing into the joy of mindful presence, with an emphasis on locally sourced foods and wines.

This specially crafted combination of mindfulness practices with amazing artisanal treats will nourish your body, heart, mind and spirit as you visit Monterey Bay Meditation Studio, Lover’s Point, Natural History Museum of Pacific Grove, Bradley Photographic, and Wild Fish Restaurant.

Farm to Table... to Mind to Heart...

Delightful local food selections may include:

  • Kale fritters, swordfish prosciutto

  • Hand-painted chocolates, savory shortbread cookies

  • Chai tea, elderflower mocktails

  • Ricotta salad with seasonal vegetables

  • Cheeses, jams, and wines

Insightful mindfulness practices:

  • Breath meditation to relax into the present moment;

  • Space to slow down to sense to the magic of “Nature Standard Time;”

WHERE: We begin at Monterey Bay Meditation Studio in downtown Pacific Grove.

COST: $149 per person

WHAT'S INCLUDED: All food, beverages and gratuities at each stop and a fun-filled, informative walk through Pacific Grove. A variety of mindfulness practices to invite deeper connection to nature, to yourself, and to each other.

WHO: Ages 15 and up are welcome. We walk at a moderate pace and cover just over a mile..

FOOD: This tour is designed to showcase the foods of Monterey County. We have carefully selected food tastings in partnership with our vendors that reflect the uniqueness of our area and its food scene, and these selections sometimes include meat, wheat, and dairy products. Substitutions can be made for those adhering to vegan, vegetarian or pescatarian diets.

WHAT TO WEAR: Comfortable shoes and clothes, and dress in layers as weather on the Monterey Peninsula is always changing due to our unique microclimates.

CAPACITY: We keep our tour sizes to an intimate 12 people. (Tour is subject to cancellation if a minimum number of participants is not met.)
