What calls to you in this season?
Recently, I (Katie) attended a class where the teacher spoke about attuning to seasons and cycles. This teaching resonated deeply with me— by receiving the unfolding of our life in seasons, we acknowledge change: this is what it's like for me now... and it will not always be like this. We also accept that growth isn't linear— it's more interesting than that! We receive the teachings we need at the right time, we circle back to deepen our understanding, we follow our curiosity to new ways of being.
And finally, when we pay attention to the cycles of the natural world, we understand that we are not separate from this world, and so it is natural that there are times of rest, times of lying fallow, times of abundance. For me, this is so comforting because it means I can release worry about what this season holds, and accept I am simply part of nature, a being experiencing a season. Rather than questioning or fearing this, I can RESPOND to what is needed.
As we enter March, this is a season of wild weather, a hint of spring on its way. What is it "a season of" for you? We hope you'll take a look at our offerings below to see what calls to you in this particular season, and how you wish to offer nourishment to yourself.
With a smile,
Katie & Marianne
