Join Katie for this special collaboration with CarmelBarre! We begin with gentle mindful movement, combining stretching with flowing qigong movements as we link body, mind, and spirit to fully experience the present moment. Then we come into stillness (sitting or lying down) for guided meditation, being aware of the body, breath, thoughts, and emotions. This practice session is suitable for those who are new to meditation as well as those with prior experience.

NOTES:

  • You must pre-register for each class via the CarmelBarre website.
  • These classes are scheduled to occur weekly, August through December (note planned cancellations below)
  • Planned cancellations are as follows: Mondays, Oct. 1, Nov. 19 & 26, Dec. 24. 
  • Please bring a yoga mat, as well as any props that you may want in order to be comfortable for meditation, such as a cushion, stool, or blanket.
