How do we care for others with kindness and empathy? And what gets in the way of our warm, open heart? How do we care for ourselves with tenderness and discernment? And what seems to limit our acceptance and self-love?
In our time together, we’ll explore the intrinsic worth of each one of us, including ourselves. We’ll re-awaken and deepen our qualities of esteem, appreciation, wisdom, and kindness. We’ll examine how we may best be of service to ourselves and others…and how these two sides of the coin are connected.
Through meditation, teaching, discussion, reflection, everyday noticing, and sharing:
Learn the about the elements of compassion, including self-compassion.
Discover and share ways of nourishing and caring for ourselves and others— both big and small.
Notice and work with resistance to compassion and self-compassion.
