MCLS: Befriending the Critic
Do you ever wish you could just take that voice out of your brain, the one that tells you you're stupid or not doing anything right, and just stomp on it? Well guess what, by treating that voice like the enemy, you are continuing to ultimately mistreat yourself, which doesn't get you anywhere productive.
In this two week intensive, we will engage in mindful exploration, getting to know the true intention of your critic. We’ll begin rebuilding a different relationship with that part of yourself-- a relationship built on mutual respect and authentic compassion. We will use meditation practices, mindful writing prompts and experiential exercises along this journey.
